Miss Yankey has appeared on stages all over the world, but her stomping ground is London where she has headlined and featured at poetry events including Pen Ting, Hammer & Tongue, Moetry, BYOB, Chocolate Poetry Club, Flovortex, and Mind Over Matter. Twice shortlisted as a Poetry Rivals Finalist, Saboteur nominated, Jerwood Fellowship nominated, a X6 international slam champion, and listed in 'The Dots 100 Rising Stars', Miss Yankey has also created and performed as part of the FLO Poets mentored by 7 x Grammy Award nominated artist Natalie 'Floacist' Stewart. 

Passionate about taking Spoken Word into new and interesting spaces, Miss Yankey frequently demonstrates the versatility of her artform and its potential to cross over into multiple arenas. She has taken her words into places such as Lost Lectures, Tate Lates, Speakers Corner, Trafalgar Square, Aljazeera, Art in The Dark, Sunday Assembly, GrassRoots Soccer, Energy Wonderland (art exhibition), Together Alone (film screening), TBD (global tech conference), and the Tower of London.
